The Classical Series

We've arranged our Classical subscription concerts into convenient series packages so you can create the season ticket package that's best for you … as few as 5 concerts – or as many as 14. Led by Music Director Carlos Kalmar, the Oregon Symphony performs with soloists and guest conductors who are among the best and the brightest in the world.

Our Classical season ticket packages are:
  • Classical A Saturday: 7 Concerts
    Featured artists include pianist Jon Kimura Parker, soprano Amber Wagner, pianist Stephen Hough, and violinist James Ehnes. Featured works include Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances, Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 (“Pathetique”).

  • Classical B Saturday: 7 Concerts
    Featured artists include cellist Alban Gerhardt, pianist Andre Watts, the LA Guitar Quartet, and violinist Jennifer Koh. Featured works include Prokofiev’s Suite from Romeo and Juliet, Mahler’s Symphony No. 6, and Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto.

  • Classical B Sunday: 7 Concerts
    Featured artists include violinist James Ehnes, pianist Andre Watts, and violinist Jennifer Koh, and pianist Kirill Gerstein. Featured works include Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 ("Pathetique"), Mahler's Symphony No. 6, and Beethoven's Emperor Concerto.

  • Classical C Sunday Afternoons: 5 Concerts
    Featured artists include pianist Jon Kimura Parker, soprano Amber Wagner, violinist Benjamin Schmid, and the LA Guitar Quartet. Featured works include Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, Franck's Symphony in D minor, and Mussorgsky's Night on Bald Mountain.

  • Classical A Monday: 7 Concerts
    Featured artists include pianist Jon Kimura Parker, soprano Amber Wagner, pianist Stephen Hough, and violinist James Ehnes. Featured works include Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances, Mahler's Symphony No. 6, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 ("Pathetique").

  • Classical B Monday: 7 Concerts

  • Classical Full A+B Saturday: 14 Concerts
    A full series for patrons who can't get enough classical music and who love Saturday nights out.

  • Classical Full B+C Sunday: 12 Concerts
    A rich mix of Sunday evenings and matinees.

  • Classical Full A+B Monday: 14 Concerts
    A full series for patrons who can't get enough classical music and who prefer Monday nights out.

The Pops Series

Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik has put together another Pops season as only he can: smart, witty, engaging programs that each explore a single facet of that grand and glorious thing we know as “popular” music.

  • Saturday Mix: 4 Concerts
    New this season, a Saturday evening Pops series that leans a bit toward the contemporary, with The Songs of Billy Joel, a Tribute to the Great Ray Charles, Ballroom with a Twist, and Dave Frishberg with Patrick Lamb.

  • Sunday Pops: 4 Concerts
    Traditional Pops at its best. A Sunday matinee series that features Debbie Gravitte Sings Broadway, Swing Swing Swing, Ballroom with a Twist, and Dave Frishberg with Patrick Lamb.

Kids Series

The series for our newest audience members: Three short programs, each about an hour in length, all designed specifically for listeners 5 to10 years young. There’s no better way to introduce your little ones to the thrills of live orchestral music!

Flex Tickets

The perfect package for music lovers who want to pick their own concerts. Custom-tailor a package that fits your schedule and musical tastes. Sold in packages of 6 or 12, this option offers the chance to choose from Classical or Pops offerings and eligible Special Concerts. And when you buy, you enjoy all the benefits and discounts of a subscriber. These are not available online. Please call our Ticket Office at 503-228-1353.

Special Concerts

Our special concerts explore a wide range of music from many different genres with some of the world’s greatest artists. Not part of any series, Special Concerts are generally one-night-only presentations. If you buy a Season Ticket package you can add Special Concert tickets to your Season Ticket package at the Season Ticket holders’ discount price – now – before non-Season Ticket holders.
